2/5/2015 - Tickle Looking Forwards to Return at San Diego SX

CHINO HILLS, Calif. (February 5, 2015) – Hall of Fame broadcaster and legendary San Diego Padres radio announcer Jerry Coleman was famously quoted for saying “I’ve made a couple of mistakes I’d like to do over.”

Part of getting the train back on the tracks includes having  RCH’s Broc Tickle alongside in the paddock and on the starting line with Ken Roczen.

Tickle was back on his bike this week after taking last week off to recover after aggravating is back two weeks ago at the Oakland Supercross. The Holly, Mich., rider felt good on his Suzuki RM-Z450 and had a solid week of practice at Lake Elsinore (Calif.) Motorsports Park, clearing the way for his return to competition this weekend.

“It feels good to be back on the bike,” said Tickle. “We were all really happy with the progress we were making before Oakland so I’m looking forward to getting back in the swing of things this weekend in San Diego. It drove me crazy to have to watch Anaheim so I’m pumped to put what happened in Oakland behind me and get back after it. There’s a lot of season left so I’m going to work really hard to make up for the ground we lost. My goal is to pick right back up where we left off and keep improving.”

Before the gate drops at the track, Roczen, Tickle and RCH team co-owner Carey Hart will meet fans and sign autographs on Friday, Feb. 6, from 5:30 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Sycuan Casino. Located in nearby El Cajon, Sycuan Casino is just 30 minutes west from downtown San Diego.

Petco Park plays host this weekend when Monster Energy Supercross, an FIM World Championship, visits the home of the San Diego Padres for the final leg of the series’ opening West Coast swing. Round 6 of the 2015 Supercross schedule will be televised live on Fox Sports 1 Saturday, Feb. 7, beginning at 7 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
